Blood Drive 11am – 4pm

Someone's life depends on you. You can donate a gift more precious than time or money: the gift of life through blood. One donation of blood can help save up to three patients' lives. VBS provides blood services to hospitals and dialysis centers throughout central Virginia and beyond. We are fortunate to live in a region where sophisticated medical facilities and transplant programs are available; however, these programs require many blood donations. Face Painting & Balloon Animals 10am-5pm

Bobby The ClownBobby The Clown has been professionally "clowning around" since 1962 and has been providing quality family entertainment to the Hampton Roads area for over 20 years. He will be appearing at the Historic Triangle Wellness Expo and offering free face painting and balloon animals for children of all ages.  

Simple Self Defense with Professor Don Haley

Professor Haley will be demonstrating, with audience interaction, the simplicity and effectiveness of personal self-defensive tactics moves at the exciting Historic Triangle Wellness Expo. At 5'6", Don will prove that a person's physical strength and size do not matter when it comes to warding off an attacker. Professor Haley will show numerous escapes, cover essential fundamentals of establishing a simple defense, and will dispel devastating myths of personal protection.

Tennis Anyone?

Tom HawkinsStephen ClarkTom Hawkins and Steve Clark with the McCormack-Nagelson Tennis Center at The College of William and Mary will be presenting Quick Start Tennis. Quick Start Tennis is an initiative of the United States tennis Association to grow the game of tennis. For both beginnner youth and adults Quick Start Tennis uses a slower moving large foam ball which allows players to learn and perfect basic tennis moves. This demonstration is for both beginner players and people who want to improve their tennis game.

Iriish DancersGot Rhythm?

Dancers from The Rhythm of Ireland School of Irish Dance will be performing at the Historic Triangle Wellness Expo and will demonstrate some basic Irish dance moves for the audience. If you ever had the urge to dance a jig, this is your opportunity.
